CALISTOGA, CA. With the annual
Napa County Fair & Fireworks in Calistoga just a month away, the Fair staff is gearing up for a community party that could not be produced without a corps of volunteers. Consider signing up today!
From receiving entries to displaying the art & photography shows and hanging ribbons and award to decorating stages and setting up activity areas, help is needed and appreciated for a myriad of pre-event projects, June 16 through July 2nd.
And of course, a lot of enthusiastic help is needed during this All-American celebration on July 4th, as we welcome nearly 10,000 festival-goers through our gates. From marshalling the parade to interacting with kids at Kid Kountry to greeting festival-goers upon their arrival, over 100 volunteers are needed for this day of celebration.
"We are in the business of creating fun for the community," says Carlene Moore, CEO. "We are looking for volunteers who embody Napa Valley character – those that enjoy people and revel in providing a warm, genuine reception that creates a memorable experience for our guests."
As if having a great time doing rewarding work isn't enough, serving as a volunteer is rewarded with complimentary admission to the Fair & Fireworks, free parking, and VIP seating at the Fireworks Sky Concert!
The Napa County Fair Association is a local nonprofit organization. Your involvement as a volunteer allows the Fair to improve the quality of exhibits and entertainment provided to festival-goers.
